The international and interdisciplinary team composed of students from the International Program for Sustainable Development, (IPSD), the Department of Mass Communication, and the Department of Green Energy and Environmental Resources of Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU) went to Liuqiu Island between June 4 and August 4 for beach cleaning, creation of installation art, and a survey on sea turtles. Drones and underwater investigation methods were expected to be used to collect data of sea turtle habitats and habits for building a database and creating installation artworks demonstrated online and at local sites for educational purposes.
