A student team from the Bachelor Degree Program in International Program for Sustainable Development (IPSD) of Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU) participated in the “Final Contest of Ocean Crisis Action in Ocean Challenge 2022” jointly organized by the Ocean Affairs Council and AIT Kaohsiung Office on June 1 and 2 and came in third. Participating international students came from Tanzania, Eswatini, Belize, and Burundi and proposed the use of mini-UAV for environmental education to improve Styrofoam pollution caused by oyster farming along the Golden Coast in Tainan. Additionally, the winning team promoted to link sustainable ocean farming to international ocean environmental education.
